Overnight Stay
Comfortable Overnight Stays
Your dog will enjoy a cozy, safe, home environment for their overnight stay. We provide comfortable bedding and ensure your pet feels at home with us, giving them a restful and relaxing experience

Structured Walks
All dogs learn to follow my lead and walk with the pack. They are encouraged to interact with kids and people in the neighborhood, as long as they exhibit good, calm behavior.
Personalized Care
My years of experience with my own dogs and fostering have taught me that no two dogs are alike. Each dog has its own unique behaviors and preferences, which allows me to adapt and learn their individual 'language'. Some dogs are more comfortable with humans, while others thrive in smaller groups or embrace pack life to the fullest. By observing their body language and reactions, I can better understand their needs, allowing me to create a safe and supportive environment tailored to each dog's personality.
Park Time
Letting dogs play is essential for their happiness. A tired dog is a happy dog, and park time helps them release energy, socialize, and stay mentally stimulated. After some fun, your furry friend will be more relaxed and well-behaved at home. So, I let them enjoy the park—it's great for everyone!
Play Time
Unless they are enjoying one of their scheduled downtimes or settling in for the night, the dogs are free to engage in structured play throughout the day. This approach not only keeps them active and stimulated but also fosters their social skills and overall happiness.

Policies
Drop-Off and Pick-Ups
Overnight DROP OFF TIME
Pups scheduled for overnight should be dropped off prior to 3:00 PM.
pick-up time
Between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
NO CHARGE FOR PICK-UP DAY
There is no daycare charge on the day you pick up your dog following an overnight stay.
Late pick-up
All pick-ups must be made by 7:00 PM. Any dog remaining after this time will be automatically scheduled for an additional overnight stay and can be picked up the next day between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. This overnight stay is not covered by our “No charge for pick-up day” policy and will incur both an overnight fee and an additional $25 daycare charge, regardless of how early the dog is picked up the following day. Early drop-off or late pick-ups may be arranged at the discretion of the Bone and Bed.

To help alleviate traffic and reduce your wait time, please provide us with notice at least 15 minutes prior to any pick-ups or drop-offs. The Bone and Bed must be notified of any changes to the stay no later than 12:00 PM on the day of scheduled service.
driveway
When dropping off please do not block any of the neighbors’ driveways. Do not leave your car door open as this can impede traffic. You can feel free to block my driveway, park across the street by the mailbox , or park on Hedgerow Dr.
relief
We ask that you not allow your pups to relieve themselves on the front lawn area. This also includes the neighbors’ properties. If you feel your pup has to relieve themselves, please walk them to the corner.
The Bone and Bed reserves the right to cancel any stay, on the spot, if these policies are not adhered to.
Fees
no-call no-show
We will charge a “No call no show” fee based on the type of service scheduled, per occurrence. If a daycare service is scheduled and no notification of cancellation or change is received by 12:00 PM, then a no-call no-show fee, at the daycare rate of $30.00, will be charged. The same applies to overnight stays. A no-call no-show fee at the overnight rate of $45.00 will be charged. This fee is charged per occurrence.
Refunds

Full refunds are only issued up until the start of the stay and if notification that to cancel is received by 12:00 p.m. (see “No-Call No-Show)”. If your dog leaves prior to the original pick-up day, the remainder of the balance will be applied as a credit to future stays.
Frequently asked questions
Where do the dogs sleep?
The dogs are allowed to sleep on the sofa, in a crate, or there choice of bedding.
Are the dogs supervised?
The dogs are supervised all day. If I have to step out for any reason then they are separated for their safety.
What is the feeding process?
At the Bone and Bed I truly believe in the pack life. All dogs eat together unless they exhibit resource guarding. If a dog exhibits resource guarding, they get one-on-one feeding with me.
Are the dogs kept in a crate or in a room all day?
No, if we are not on a walk or at the park, the dogs are allowed to freely access our fenced in yard all day, regardless of weather.
Is there anyone with the dogs at night?
The dogs are supervised at all times. Night times are no exceptions.
Does The Bone and Bed provide training?
No, we are not certified trainers or licensed behaviorists. At Bone and Bed, we strive to create a warm and structured environment where your dog can truly feel at home. While they stay with us, they have the option to join in on fun exercises with our home dogs. This allows your pup to engage in positive interactions and enjoy themselves while staying active in a relaxed setting. It’s all about making their stay enjoyable and enriching!
