Where do the dogs sleep?
The dogs are allowed to sleep on the sofa, in a crate, or there choice of bedding.
Are the dogs supervised?
The dogs are supervised all day. If I have to step out for any reason then they are separated for their safety.
What is the feeding process?
At the Bone and Bed we truly believe in the pack life. All dogs eat together unless they exhibit resource guarding. If a dog exhibits resource guarding then they get one on one feeding with me.
Are the dogs kept in a crate or room all day?
No, if we are not on a walk or at the park, the dogs are allowed to freely access our fenced in yard all day, regardless of weather.
Is there anyone with the dogs at night?
The dogs are supervised at all times. Night times are no exceptions.
Does the Bone and Bed provide training?
No. At the Bone and Bed we are not certified trainers or licensed behaviorists. What we do offer and provide is a structured environment. When your dog stays at Bone and Bed they become our dogs. That means when we drill basic commands (heal, stay, it, etc) with our home dogs, your dog will also participate in the drills. This activity is great for interaction, establishing order, and creating a positive engagement.
